The District at Dubai Mall

Emaar continues to shape globally leading retail and leisure destinations with the unveiling of The District on March 1, 2025 — a contemporary precinct within the iconic Dubai Mall. This Dh1.5bn expansion introduces a curated selection of 279 new luxury outlets, including 198 retail stores and 81 food and beverage experiences.

The District provides an early glimpse into the next wave of luxury stores and restaurants in Dubai Mall, further strengthening its status as a premier global destination.

This milestone highlights Emaar’s commitment to sustainable, customer-centric growth. Dubai Mall retained its position as the most visited place on Earth for two consecutive years (2023–2024), welcoming 111 million visitors in 2024 — a 6% increase compared to 2023.

The District: Strategic location, reimagined space

Located on the ground floor near the vibrant Dubai Ice Rink, The District is designed with wide boulevards, warm terracotta palettes, and light-filled walkways that create an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. Its sophisticated urban aesthetic blends openness with seclusion, and contemporary architecture with subtle regional influences — creating a space that feels globally relevant yet deeply rooted in the local culture.

Curated luxury, evolving experiences

The District introduces a diverse array of new restaurants, offering something for every palate — from modern Emirati cuisine at Klay by Karak House, to pastries at Home Bakery Kitchen, and specialty brews at Trio Coffee and RX Coffee Apothecary. International flavors include Turkish delicacies at Mado and Japanese ramen at Slrp.

Dining is further enhanced by the revamped Cheesecake Factory, offering a more refined experience, along with globally acclaimed coffee brands like Peet’s Coffee and Toby’s Estate. These additions transform the mall into an even more vibrant social hub — a place where residents can gather, explore diverse flavors, and enjoy memorable culinary experiences.

Retail offerings include a compelling mix of luxury brands, beloved local spots like Drop and Joud Coffee, and globally recognised labels.
